Aesthetic Technician – Rolling Stock

About the role
The Aesthetic Technician works on a live rail depot, delivering interior and exterior visual repairs to a large fleet of trains. The role is full‑time, night‑shift (Sun‑Thu), and offers an on‑going contract with immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect train interiors and exteriors for visual defects and carry out rectification work.
- Repair bodyside dents, scratches, vegetation damage and replace damaged components such as seats, cup‑holders, and window lenses.
- Perform spray‑painting of panels, decal replacements, lino flooring repairs, graffiti removal and window film replacements.
- Update Maximo work orders, log before‑and‑after photos and record work details on the Maximo system (tablet and desktop).
- Undertake depot driving and DP duties, and work across all berthing locations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in vehicle body repairs from preparation to paint.
- Mechanical experience and a full UK driver’s licence.
- Reliable timekeeping, willingness to work overtime and good communication.
- Basic computer literacy.

What we offer
- Hourly rate £22.28 PAYE or £28.99 Umbrella
- 50‑hour week on night shifts (Sun‑Thu)
- Immediate start and on‑going contract
