Aircraft Technician – Base Maintenance

About the role

Join Emirates Airlines' Base Maintenance team in London and support the upkeep of a diverse fleet that includes Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft. You will work under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, performing routine servicing, inspections and major system repairs to keep aircraft airworthy and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and approved structural repairs on aircraft, engines and components following manufacturer procedures.
• Perform fluid replenishment, aircraft refuelling and system charging while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Interpret and apply information from the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) and Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
• Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Approved Technicians in troubleshooting, repairs and modifications using job cards.
• Prepare work based on aircraft status, report defects promptly and ensure accurate shift handovers.
• Maintain clean, organised work areas, audit toolboxes and equipment, and hold a valid Airport Driving Permit.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a related engineering discipline.
• Vocational or diploma qualification (12+2 or equivalent) in engineering or an apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in a high‑tempo, regulated environment and follow company procedures.
