Analyst / Associate – Private Credit (French speaker)

About the role
This position offers an opportunity to join a leading private credit team in London, focusing on origination and management of debt investments. The role is suitable for candidates fluent in both English and French and who are eager to develop their analytical expertise in a fast‑moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary analysis of investment opportunities, including industry research, business model assessment, leadership evaluation, and competitive positioning.
- Participate in the investment appraisal process by performing detailed due diligence, meeting management teams, reviewing third‑party reports, and consulting internal and external sector experts.
- Build and maintain financial models, run sensitivity analyses, and assess credit risk.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to the Investment Committee for approval.
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and produce performance reports.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in leveraged finance, corporate finance, private debt investing, or debt advisory.
- Strong financial and credit analytical capabilities.
- Solid understanding of credit instruments, markets, and the broader investment industry.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent written and spoken English and French.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Bloomberg.
- Experience using Capital IQ.
