Analytics Engineer – Remote Contract – £650/day

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a high‑performing data team on a 6‑month contract. The role is fully remote and focuses on building trusted, scalable data products using modern cloud platforms such as Snowflake and Looker.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain analytical datasets and data products that serve a large user community.
• Develop, optimise and support SQL‑based transformation pipelines across Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
• Create robust, denormalised and aggregated data models aligned with business reporting needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science and product teams to ensure source systems support downstream analytics.
• Deliver intuitive reporting layers and dashboards through Looker while promoting governance and adoption.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Advanced SQL development and optimisation skills.
• Strong understanding of data‑warehousing principles and dimensional modelling.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable analytical datasets in cloud environments.
