Architect – Birmingham (£37‑45k)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to join an established Birmingham‑based practice. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from concept through to completion, within a collaborative and forward‑thinking team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as project runner and design team coordinator, primarily focusing on a single project at a time.
• Manage projects through all stages, ensuring day‑to‑day delivery and technical design development.
• Develop design concepts, produce architectural drawings, specifications, reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and contribute to design team meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes.
• Attend and run site meetings, maintaining accurate progress records.
• Support preparation and monitoring of project programmes.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members across design, detailing and administration.

Required profile

• Qualified Architect with current ARB registration.
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Strong client liaison and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
