Asbestos Analyst

About the role

Riverside Environmental Services, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join its Field Team in Central London. You will work on a varied portfolio of commercial, residential and industrial sites, delivering high‑quality asbestos clearance and monitoring services while supporting the development of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out four‑stage clearances in line with HSG248 guidance.
• Undertake background, reassurance, leak and personal air monitoring.
• Conduct visual inspections and site audits on asbestos removal projects.
• Produce accurate analytical reports and technical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, UKAS requirements and industry standards.
• Support and mentor trainee analysts where appropriate.

Required profile

• BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Analyst.
• Strong understanding of HSG248 and current asbestos legislation.
• Experience carrying out four‑stage clearances and air‑monitoring activities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• High level of attention to detail and accountability.
