About the role

This programme offers high‑achieving graduates a permanent Secondary Teaching Assistant position in a top‑rated London secondary school, with a pathway to salaried teacher training. The role starts in September 2025 and transitions to a Schools Direct teacher training contract in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Support subject teachers across Key Stages 3‑5, delivering classroom assistance and targeted interventions.
• Assist with GCSE and A‑Level preparation, including revision sessions and assessment support.
• Shadow experienced teachers, observe best practices, and contribute to lesson planning.
• Help raise pupil attainment by providing personalised support and monitoring progress.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with strong academic record.
• Motivation to train as a secondary school teacher.
• Willingness to work in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Geography, History or Modern Foreign Languages.
• Commitment to a full‑time, permanent contract starting September 2025.
