About the role
This position offers an exciting chance to join an established marketing agency and support the Financial Controller with a variety of accounting tasks. You will be responsible for daily and monthly bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage the sales and purchase ledgers.
- Post expenses and maintain the budget, comparing actuals to forecasts.
- Prepare and file monthly VAT returns.
- Track all group bank accounts and download transaction data for management reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
- Run the monthly payroll and submit required information to HMRC.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams.
