About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Risk Advisory Services team in Manchester. You will work with a diverse portfolio of professional services clients, delivering tailored risk management solutions and supporting their compliance and audit initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bespoke risk advisory services to professional services clients.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support internal audit and compliance project delivery.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive risk management.
• Prepare and present detailed risk reports to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to growth initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in accounting and finance with a focus on risk management.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering risk assessments and compliance projects in a professional services environment.
• Analytical mindset with proactive risk identification.
• Proficiency with risk management tools and software.
