Assistant Manager – Specialty Coffee, Natural Wine & Hybrid Hotel

About the role

We are launching a new boutique hotel in London and need an Assistant Manager to help shape the culture, lead the team and ensure a memorable experience for guests. You will work closely with the General Manager, overseeing both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations in a vibrant food & beverage environment that serves specialty coffee by day and natural wines by night.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Front and Back of House teams as the main point of contact alongside the GM.
• Manage rotas, leave and absences in partnership with the GM.
• Ensure smooth task flow and handovers across departments.
• Champion high service standards and create memorable guest experiences.
• Support team growth through regular 1:1s, coaching and goal setting.

Required profile

• Passionate about people and creating great moments.
• Leadership experience in hospitality (hotel background a bonus).
• Ability to inspire a team and build a genuine culture.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest or experience in specialty coffee or natural wine.
