Associate Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join our Birmingham office. The role sits within a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering integrated engineering solutions across the UK, focusing on building services for a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical building services design from concept through to handover.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other consultants to produce coordinated designs.
• Prepare design documentation, calculations, and specifications in line with CIBSE standards.
• Support BIM coordination and ensure accurate Revit and AutoCAD models.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with experience in building services design.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high‑quality electrical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and client‑facing experience.
