Associate Lecturer / Lecturer – Business & Management

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer to deliver Business & Management programmes at our Leeds campus. The role involves teaching foundation‑year modules, supporting student progression and contributing to course development within a higher‑education environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning across Business & Management programmes, particularly foundation‑year modules.
• Tutor and mentor students, providing timely formative and summative feedback.
• Develop and continuously improve module content, schemes of work and teaching materials.
• Design and facilitate subject‑specific sessions aligned with learning outcomes and syllabuses.
• Administer assessments in line with the assessment team’s guidelines and meet marking deadlines.
• Produce module/unit reports and ensure compliance with awarding bodies’ programme specifications.
• Collaborate with academic staff and support services to enhance the student experience.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant Business or Management discipline.
• Previous lecturing experience at HEI level for comparable courses.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students from diverse backgrounds.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blackboard or other Virtual Learning Environments.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams and Zoom for online teaching and collaboration.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent position (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM).
• Competitive salary range £30,500‑£43,500 per annum.
