Audit Senior

About the role

We are looking for an Audit Senior to join our Birmingham office. You will work on audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse client base, while also supporting accounts preparation and corporate tax returns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit engagements for clients across various industries.
• Manage the audit workflow, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Prepare statutory accounts and assist with corporate tax return filings where required.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering full audit cycles for clients of different sizes, preferably within an independent or mid‑tier firm.
• Experience in accounts preparation and corporate tax returns is advantageous.
• Fully qualified auditor (ACA/ACCA) preferred, but candidates close to qualification will also be considered.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and contribute effectively within a team.
