AWS Java Full Stack Developer – 6 Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a leading financial organisation on a 6‑month contract to modernise enterprise applications and build scalable, cloud‑native solutions. You will work in a fast‑paced Agile environment, delivering large‑scale AWS transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor Java and Angular applications into AWS cloud‑native microservices.
• Develop using Java 11+/17, Spring Boot, microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Deploy solutions with AWS services such as EKS/ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins or GitLab.
• Support Agile delivery, conduct code reviews, manage production releases and oversee application migrations.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java 11+/17 and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on Angular development expertise.
• Solid knowledge of the AWS platform and its core services.
• Proven CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps experience.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
