Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Our client, a well‑established and growing organisation recognised for service quality and innovation, is seeking an Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team. The role is hybrid, with four days in the London office and one day remote, offering a competitive salary of £72,000 plus a 10% bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Azure IaaS components such as virtual machines, storage, and backup, and manage patching and lifecycle processes.
• Support and troubleshoot Azure networking, ensuring reliable connectivity.
• Monitor security vulnerabilities, remediate issues, and support compliance initiatives.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support and contribute to cloud‑focused projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Azure IaaS, security, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Background in Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting.
