Azure Platform Engineer – Remote (3‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to design, build and deploy a new Azure platform, focusing on Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and hybrid infrastructure. The role is fully remote on a three‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and implement enterprise Azure platforms from the ground up.
• Lead deployment and configuration of Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• Migrate and integrate VMware workloads into Azure.
• Collaborate with architects and technical stakeholders to align platform designs with business requirements.
• Support implementation of a hybrid Omnissa Horizon environment within Azure.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues throughout implementation.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience designing and building Azure platforms.
• Proven experience with Azure architecture and platform design.
• Experience deploying Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and integrating VMware environments.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage and Entra ID.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code approaches.
