BIM Technician – MEP Modelling for Data Centres

About the role

The BIM Technician will produce high‑quality, coordinated Revit MEP models and drawings for data‑centre projects. Working within a multidisciplinary BIM and engineering team, you will support the BIM Project Lead and engineering disciplines by ensuring model accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain coordinated Revit MEP models, integrating inputs from all disciplines.
• Run clash detection using Navisworks, identify issues and communicate them to engineering teams for resolution.
• Produce accurate construction drawings directly from the models, ensuring they meet company quality standards.
• Monitor model health, file size and performance, applying best practices to keep models clean and efficient.
• Ensure all deliverables follow internal BIM standards, client‑specific BEPs and ISO 19650 principles.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, liaising with external consultants and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering BIM on large‑scale MEP or multidisciplinary projects, preferably data centres.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination processes, common data environments (ACC, FORMA) and quality assurance workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
• Familiarity with ACC and FORMA data environments.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and ISO 19650.
