Bodyshop Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Bodyshop Manager to join our team and play a key role at Activate Accident Repair Hampton. Activate Group is a fast‑growing UK business with nearly 1,000 employees nationwide, offering long‑term career development and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Plan resources and equipment levels around budgets and financial plans.
• Maintain consistent workflow through effective capacity planning and workshop loading.
• Manage daily production coordination and monitor site KPI performance.
• Handle customer complaints, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs and lead recruitment with the People team.
• Promote employee engagement, support apprentices and ensure health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Technical knowledge and experience of the Accident Repair and Bodyshop industry.
• Previous management experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
• Understanding of vehicle design, legislation and industry best practice.

Required skills

• Accident Repair and Bodyshop industry knowledge.
• Vehicle design and manufacture expertise.
• Knowledge of E.P.A. and C.O.S.H.H regulations.
• Familiarity with BSI Standards and accreditation.
