Branch Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Branch Manager to lead our NAPA Auto Parts store in Bridport. The role focuses on maximising sales, achieving targets and delivering first‑class service while operating with full autonomy and support from the local management team.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales, margin and performance targets.
• Ensure first‑class service for all customers.
• Drive the team to meet sales and promotional goals while maintaining excellent communication.
• Manage and control branch running costs.
• Oversee stock control, including regular stock taking and adjustments.
• Handle cash and specific customer accounts responsibly.
• Support senior management in implementing policies and procedures.
• Communicate key aims and objectives to the team.
• Maintain daily operations of all branch aspects.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met within the depot.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
• Strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Familiarity with online and Windows‑based cataloguing systems.
• Leadership mindset that creates a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, sales‑focused environment.
• Can‑do attitude with a focus on meeting sales targets.
• Effective multitasking and prioritisation of urgent versus important tasks.
• Knowledge of the local area and customer base (desired but not essential).
