Business Architect – Fusion (12 month FTC)

About the role

The Fusion Business Architect will own the end‑to‑end business design for the Fusion programme, ensuring that requirements, processes, capabilities and organisational models are aligned across delivery waves. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level position that works closely with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive business designs across all models, ensuring traceability and alignment with strategy.
• Act as the central point for cross‑functional design covering HCM, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Payroll.
• Govern design decisions, enforce standards and best‑practice compliance.
• Maintain and evolve target and transitional operating models, assessing impacts on people, process, technology and data.
• Shape, prioritise and manage business demand into IT workstreams, develop business cases and secure budget approvals.
• Own business architecture roadmaps and align investment with strategic priorities.
• Lead day‑to‑day business analysis delivery, coach Business Analysts and ensure high‑quality documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business architecture and large‑scale programme delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior‑level relationships.
• Ability to develop business cases, cost estimates and secure budget approval.
• Experience leading and coaching Business Analysts.
