Business Development Assistant – Graduate Level

About the role

This graduate position supports the Business Development team of a respected law firm. Working closely with the Bid Manager, you will help prepare and submit tenders, contributing to the firm’s growth and client acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and monitor tender opportunities across relevant sectors and practice areas.
• Manage bid administration, ensuring all deliverables meet submission deadlines.
• Prepare and upload tenders via online procurement portals.
• Maintain tender trackers, pipelines, and the firm’s bid library.
• Draft non‑technical tender responses using existing content and marketing collateral.
• Liaise with fee earners, partners and support teams to gather required information.
• Coordinate compliance checks and contract review processes.
• Collect and analyse feedback from both successful and unsuccessful bids.
