Business Development Director – Corporate

About the role

We are a PE‑backed technology and digital transformation specialist seeking a dynamic Business Development Director for our Corporate division. You will lead the acquisition of new customers, drive revenue and gross‑profit growth, and expand our market presence across legacy‑system modernisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets, focusing on organisations needing digital transformation and legacy‑systems modernisation.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and grow the customer base, including market analysis and competitive positioning.
• Leverage professional networks, industry events and online platforms to generate leads and build pipelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, understand their business needs and articulate how our solutions address them.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, presentations and win new business.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position our offerings effectively.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, report activities and provide market insights to leadership.
• Work closely with marketing, product and delivery teams to ensure alignment and feedback on customer requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the technology sector, preferably focused on digital transformation, cloud, data & AI, security or legacy‑systems.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets with corporate end‑users.
• Strong ability to develop strategic plans, conduct market analysis and position solutions competitively.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
