Business Development Manager – Bathroom Brassware

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Bathroom Brassware will lead field‑sales activities across the Midlands, promoting a wide range of bathroom taps, showers, accessories and fittings. This is a new‑area, growth‑focused position targeting regional housebuilders, private developers and plumbing & heating merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by prospecting and securing contracts with housebuilders and private developers.
• Maintain and expand relationships with plumbing and heating merchants who supply the housebuilder market.
• Conduct 3‑4 client meetings per day, presenting product ranges and negotiating terms.
• Develop the Midlands territory to achieve a sales target of approximately £250,000 in 2026.
• Manage a small pipeline of leads while leveraging personal contacts within the housebuilder community.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales track record within the bathroom or related construction sector.
• Hunter mentality with demonstrable success selling to housebuilders.
• Existing network of contacts in the housebuilder community is essential.
• Self‑motivated, confident and able to challenge senior management when needed.

Required skills

• Experience selling bathroom brassware (taps, showers, accessories).
• Knowledge of the housebuilder procurement process.
• Ability to manage a territory and meet daily client‑meeting targets.
