Business Development Manager - Digital Forensics

About the role

Profectus Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for a leading UK Digital Forensics authority. The role is home‑based with occasional travel to client sites and the company headquarters, reporting directly to the Director of Digital Forensics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map target public‑sector accounts, building strategic relationships to expand market presence.
• Lead the full tender process, from crafting proposals to delivering presentations and closing contracts.
• Educate prospects on forensic capabilities, uncover pain points and position tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, run outbound campaigns and consistently achieve quarterly revenue targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Forensics or a closely related field.
• Proven success selling into the UK public sector, with a full‑lifecycle business development background.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Resilient, results‑driven attitude and ability to collaborate with sales and technical teams.
