About the role
The Business Development Manager will manage and grow key accounts while generating new business across the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Develop commercial growth strategies.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Manage sales forecasts and identify revenue opportunities.
- Increase profitability and market share.
Required profile
- Proven chemical‑industry sales and key account management experience.
- Successful new‑business and customer‑development experience.
- Strong knowledge of polymer or related technical manufacturing markets.
Required skills
- Strong pricing, commercial negotiation and growth‑strategy experience.
- Confident pitching to senior customers and technical stakeholders.
- Strong CRM, opportunity management and sales forecasting experience.
- Ability to monitor account profitability, receivables and market performance.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland.
