Business Development Manager – Property Auctions

About the role

The Auction Company is seeking motivated, property‑savvy professionals to join its fast‑growing auction network as self‑employed Business Development Managers. You will work remotely, identifying properties suitable for auction and guiding sellers and agents through the benefits of the auction process.

Key responsibilities

• Source and qualify properties for auction using direct mail, social media and estate‑agent contacts.
• Present the auction model to sellers and agents, explaining benefits and process.
• Maintain relationships with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other referral partners.
• Collaborate with the company’s back‑office team that handles advertising, legal packs and auction execution.
• Track performance metrics and report progress to the regional support team.

Required profile

• Experience in estate agency, property sales or a closely related field.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to build a personal business.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting auction benefits.
• Willingness to invest in training and develop a self‑managed operation.

• Commission structure: 1% on estate‑agent referrals (minimum £1,250) and 2% on direct seller instructions (minimum £2,500).
