Business Development Representative - Enterprise

About the role

Stacks is looking for a fiercely ambitious, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven Business Development Representative to join as one of its initial GTM hires. In this high‑impact role you’ll collaborate closely with the Sales team to create and execute Stacks’ go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own outbound prospecting into Mid‑Market and Enterprise companies across the UK.
• Run multi‑channel campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn, continuously writing, testing and iterating.
• Hold insight‑led discovery conversations with finance leaders, applying consulting instincts to qualify opportunities.
• Develop deep product mastery of the monthly close process to speak credibly about debits, credits, reconciliations and close pain points.
• Partner directly with the Sales team to shape messaging and build a repeatable outbound motion.
• Progress toward an Account Executive role within an 8‑12 month trajectory.

Required profile

• 1–3 years experience in a top‑tier environment such as MBB, VC, PE or an early‑stage analytical role.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to think in frameworks and quickly derive the “so what” for prospects.
• Commercial instinct with a focus on measurable revenue outcomes.
• Competitive, coachable, and comfortable making cold calls.
• Clear, concise communication skills in writing, speaking and on the phone.
