About the role

Santander Digital Services is seeking a Business Manager for the T&O Office in Milton Keynes. The role is responsible for financial planning, performance control and governance across the Business Solutions area, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision‑making and efficiency initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage end‑to‑end financial performance tracking, including P&L analysis, risk identification and delivery of management insight.
  • Develop and maintain financial control and governance frameworks to support accurate decision‑making.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis, scenario modelling and insight for investment and business planning.
  • Coordinate governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely, high‑quality outputs.
  • Drive cost optimisation, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting strong risk and control practices.

Required profile

  • Significant experience in financial management, planning, forecasting and control within a complex business environment, preferably financial services.
  • Proven track record managing budgets, P&L performance and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline; professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA preferred.
  • Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.

Required skills

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, P&L management, financial control and reporting tools.
  • Experience with financial systems, data quality improvement and performance reporting in regulated environments.

  • Salary range £49,274 – £73,912 per annum (35‑hour week).
  • 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after 5 years.
