Business Quality Manager

About the role

This position sits within the Compliance / Training & Competence (T&C) function of a well‑established private bank. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of advice and documentation by reviewing client files and supporting advisers with constructive feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client file reviews to assess advice suitability and documentation quality.
• Provide feedback to advisers, identify performance trends and suggest improvements.
• Support T&C Supervisors with oversight, coaching initiatives and process enhancements.
• Maintain and improve supervisory documentation and T&C processes.
• Assist senior stakeholders on projects and provide technical support.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal frameworks.

Required profile

• Experience in paraplanning, file review, or advice suitability assessment.
• Understanding of the Training & Competence (T&C) framework (desirable).
• Knowledge of COBS, ICOBS and/or MCOB.
• Strong analytical ability and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent) in Financial Planning or Investment Management.
