Carbon Analyst

About the role

Sylvera is scaling its Ratings Team to support a fast‑growing carbon data platform. As a Carbon Analyst you will conduct assessments of carbon projects, provide due‑diligence insights, and help shape the analytical frameworks that underpin the company’s market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct carbon project assessments, reviewing documentation, scientific literature, news, modelling formulas, time‑series and geospatial data.
• Deliver quantitative and qualitative research to generate timely, robust insights for customers.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and design tools that increase assessment speed and quality.
• Collaborate with technology, data, product and commercial teams to ensure alignment and data integrity.
• Uphold critical quality‑assurance processes to maintain Sylvera’s reputation as a trusted data provider.

Required profile

• Based in London and able to work on‑site five days a week.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience in carbon markets or a related field.
• Strong critical‑thinking and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience delivering data insights and innovating analytics.
• Excellent written English communication and collaboration skills.
