Carpenter – Second Fix & Flat Roof Work (6‑week contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced carpenter to join a 6‑week project in Birmingham. The role combines structural flat‑roof work with internal second‑fix finishes, offering a varied on‑site experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install structural roof joists and lay flat roof decking to design specifications, ensuring correct falls and structural integrity.
• Carry out second‑fix tasks such as fitting internal doors, ironmongery, skirting boards, architraves and other finishings.
• Work safely at height and adhere to all site health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card.
• Working at Heights and Asbestos Awareness certificates (or willingness to obtain before start date).
• Own full set of professional carpentry tools and personal protective equipment.
• Proven experience in both structural roofing and internal second‑fix carpentry.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
