About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established Further Education College in London to recruit a Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer. The successful candidate will join the Construction department and deliver high‑quality teaching to Level 1‑3 learners, shaping the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging practical workshop sessions and classroom‑based theory lessons across Level 1, 2 and 3 Carpentry and Joinery programmes.
- Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Required profile
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery or a related trade.
- Recent or previous on‑site industry experience within Carpentry and Joinery.
- Experience teaching, training or mentoring learners, preferably in Further Education.
- A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, though support may be available for the right candidate.
