Chief of Staff, Product

About the role

Monzo is looking for a Chief of Staff to support its Chief Product Officer and help shape the product vision and strategy across the organisation. Based in London, you will work closely with product leadership, engineering, design and data teams to drive high‑impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and drive key projects for the CPO, including product roadmap structuring and organisational goal setting.
• Lead strategic and ad‑hoc initiatives that improve delivery speed and effectiveness across product teams.
• Analyse performance data, identify drivers, and establish a regular reporting cadence, including monthly business reviews.
• Collaborate across Monzo to resolve priority conflicts, dependency issues and headcount decisions.
• Design and execute initiatives for product team engagement, performance management and career progression.
• Prepare the CPO for high‑visibility meetings with regulators, investors, journalists, board members and employee forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior product or operations role within a fast‑moving technology or fintech environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leaders.
• Comfortable working in a high‑growth, ambiguous environment and driving change.
