Children Residential Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join a growing residential care provider in Manchester. As a Children Residential Support Worker you will live and work in a residential home, delivering day‑to‑day care, emotional support and positive guidance to children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care and supervision in a residential setting.
• Support daily routines, personal hygiene, meals and bedtime procedures.
• Facilitate educational activities, life‑skills training and recreational programmes.
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour through guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with senior staff and external agencies.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with children and young people.
• Willingness to learn; previous residential or social‑care experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent is an advantage.
• Enhanced DBS clearance will be required.
