Class 2 HGV Driver – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV driver to join a reputable building‑products supply company in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester. The role involves daily multi‑drop deliveries of construction materials and plant machinery to local customers, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Perform safe and punctual deliveries of building supplies, timber, landscaping materials and plant equipment across the local area.
• Load, unload and secure cargo, including HIAB‑operated loads, tipper and muckaway items.
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused service as the face of the business.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all road safety and company policies, ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and road‑worthy.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Experience with plant machinery or multi‑drop deliveries is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and cover a sensible local area without night or weekend shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
