Client Accounts Manager (ACA / ACCA Qualified)

About the role

Elite Personnel is recruiting on behalf of an established professional services firm for a Client Accounts Manager. The senior position will lead the delivery and quality of statutory accounts and tax compliance work across a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax compliance for all clients.
• Provide technical guidance and act as the senior point of contact for complex queries.
• Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards before final sign‑off.
• Maintain clear documentation and review notes to support compliance and quality assurance.
• Lead, mentor and coach the accounts and tax team, allocating work to meet deadlines.
• Promote a professional, organised and accountable team culture.
• Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and respond to queries.
• Monitor progress of assignments and drive timely completion.
• Support improvement of internal processes, templates and operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts and tax compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail‑focused approach.
• Confidence working in a fast‑paced environment with significant responsibility.
