Clinical Pharmacist – Evenings and Weekends

About the role

We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team. This hybrid role requires three days on‑site at our Kings Cross office and two days remote, working evenings and weekends on a 40‑hour week. On‑site shifts run Monday‑Friday 11 am–8 pm and weekends 8 am–5 pm, with two weekend days per month and a day in lieu.

Key responsibilities

• Clinically check and review cannabis‑based medicine (CBPM) prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
• Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification.
• At least two years of prescribing experience.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of CBPM is desired or willingness to undergo specialised training.
• Clear communicator across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation skills.
