Cloud Engineer (Azure/M365)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and M365 to join our Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions that support our business applications and services.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively maintain business‑as‑usual operations, including patch management.
• Manage projects through design, build, test and deployment phases.
• Design and implement Azure‑based infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance and security.
• Optimise performance and scalability, including capacity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues escalated from the Service Desk.
• Create and maintain documentation for designs, configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with wider business teams for seamless integration.
• Support acquisitions and onboarding activities with technical advice.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Azure technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of system administration experience focused on Azure/M365.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, M365 Fundamentals) are desirable.
• Network qualifications and project‑management experience are a plus.
• Experience in the financial services industry is desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
