Commercial Contracts Solicitor – 2+ PQE, Birmingham

About the role

Join a nationally recognised commercial team as a Commercial Contracts Solicitor in Birmingham. You will work on high‑value agreements for FTSE‑listed companies, public sector bodies and fast‑growing UK businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts, including supply, distribution, outsourcing, logistics, manufacturing, procurement and consultancy agreements.
• Handle sector‑specific arrangements across automotive, aerospace, retail, food & drink, healthcare, telecoms, life sciences, financial services and real estate.
• Work on IT and technology contracts, international commercial matters and major public‑sector projects.
• Provide day‑to‑day commercial advice while supporting strategic client projects.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with a diverse client portfolio.

Required profile

• At least two years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate and advise on complex commercial agreements.
• Commercially minded, technically strong and confident in direct client interactions.
• Ambitious, business‑development focused and keen to build a long‑term career in a leading practice.
• Interest in innovation, legal technology and evolving commercial trends is advantageous.
