About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join a growing Dispute Resolution team based in Manchester. Acting for a broad range of commercial clients, the team advises on a variety of complex and high‑value disputes. This position suits an ambitious solicitor looking to develop expertise while working alongside experienced litigators on challenging matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cases through all stages of the dispute process.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver commercially driven advice.
• Take ownership of own matters and support senior lawyers on larger cases.
• Provide drafting and technical support across a varied caseload.
• Contribute to the team’s development by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2+ years post‑qualification experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
• Strong technical, drafting and client‑management abilities.
• Proven experience handling matters through the litigation process.
• Proactive team player with a commercial approach and genuine enthusiasm for dispute resolution.
