Commercial Solutions Engineer (UK)

About the role

Dash0 is looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and prospects in the UK. You will bridge product capabilities with real‑world outcomes, delivering high‑impact proofs of concept and guiding observability architecture discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, maintainable Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0’s differentiated technical capabilities.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred technical solution.
• Provide architecture guidance, best practices, and reusable demo environments.
• Partner with Product Management to feed technical insights into the roadmap.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands‑on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform‑engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills for both engineers and decision‑makers.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
