Commercial Technology Associate (3-6 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Technology Associate with 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience to join a leading international law firm’s Commercial & Technology team. You will work on high‑value technology projects, commercial contracts and digital transformation initiatives for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and draft a wide range of commercial contracts and technology agreements.
• Negotiate SaaS, software licensing, cloud services and managed services agreements.
• Support clients on digital transformation, data protection and information governance matters.
• Assist with outsourcing, procurement, AI and emerging technology projects.
• Contribute to technology transactions, corporate deals and investment activities across multiple sectors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide commercially focused legal advice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) status.
• 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial technology law.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with partners and senior lawyers.

Required skills

• Understanding of AI and emerging technology legal issues.
