About the role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Solicitor to join an established business on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. The role will support a significant capital‑expenditure project, working alongside the wider project team and providing legal support as the project progresses.
Key responsibilities
- Advising on construction contracts and project documentation, including NEC and bespoke agreements.
- Supporting the project team with contractual issues as they arise during the capital‑expenditure programme.
- Providing practical advice on contractual risk, obligations and project delivery.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and other external parties.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with solid construction law experience.
- Experience working with NEC contracts and bespoke construction agreements.
- Proven ability to support major capital‑expenditure projects and work directly with stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to deliver clear, practical legal advice in a live project environment.
