Construction Solicitor – Contentious (6+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor specialising in contentious matters to join a top‑50 UK law firm’s nationally recognised construction practice in London. The role offers high‑value, technically complex disputes and the chance to work alongside senior specialists in a supportive, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of contentious construction issues, including disputes under JCT, NEC and other standard contracts.
• Manage complex adjudication, litigation and arbitration matters, delivering commercially focused solutions.
• Collaborate with senior construction specialists on high‑value disputes and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, identifying new opportunities for the practice.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) within a recognised construction practice.
• Strong technical expertise in contentious construction law and the ability to manage an independent caseload.
• Proven track record of delivering practical, client‑focused advice.
