Consulting Actuary – DB Pensions

About the role

We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy to expand its DB pensions team. As a Consulting Actuary you will act as a trusted adviser to scheme trustees and corporate clients, delivering strategic pension advice from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and provide high‑quality, strategic pensions advice.
• Support projects covering funding, de‑risking, investment and risk management.
• Review technical work and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, tenders and new client opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on complex pension challenges.

Required profile

• FIA‑qualified actuary (or equivalent) with strong DB pensions consulting experience.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality advice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset and interest in developing new business.
• Leadership or people‑management experience is advantageous.
