About the role

The Legists is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor Partner to join its Birmingham office. This strategic appointment will strengthen the firm’s corporate practice across the Midlands, providing a platform for high‑value transactional work and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex corporate transactions including M&A, private equity deals, joint ventures and restructurings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across private, public and owner‑managed companies.
• Drive business development initiatives to generate revenue and expand the firm’s market presence.
• Mentor and lead junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Collaborate with national and international colleagues to deliver integrated corporate solutions.

• Extensive experience handling complex corporate transactions.
