Corporate Solicitor

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Solicitor to join a highly regarded Tier 1 corporate team in Manchester. You will work alongside leading corporate lawyers, advising on a diverse range of transactions such as M&A, reorganisations, disposals and shareholder matters while developing your career within a supportive and growing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors.
• Leading and supporting due diligence exercises on corporate transactions.
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements and related corporate documentation.
• Assisting with business disposals, restructurings and corporate reorganisations.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships whilst supporting business development initiatives.

Required profile

• A solicitor or equivalent with 0‑3 years' post‑qualification experience in corporate law.
• Experience in M&A transactions and corporate due diligence projects.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements and transaction documents.
• Familiarity with disposals, reorganisations and general corporate advisory work.
• Commercially minded with strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Motivated to develop within a high‑performing and ambitious corporate practice.
