Corporate Solicitor Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor Partner to join our Birmingham office. The role will involve leading the corporate practice, developing client relationships and delivering high‑value transactional work for a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the corporate team, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, private equity and restructuring matters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, driving business development.
• Provide strategic corporate advice to privately owned businesses, listed companies and multinational organisations.
• Manage cross‑border transactions and collaborate with national and international partners.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the firm’s market profile.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a proven track record in corporate law.
• Demonstrable experience in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong technical expertise in M&A, private equity, corporate restructuring and general corporate advisory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative partnership culture.
