Corporate Tax Director

About the role

The Corporate Tax Director will lead the expansion of Menzies' corporate and international tax offering in Manchester, shaping a strategic service for large corporate clients and driving market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch a dedicated corporate and international tax service for large clients in Manchester.
• Provide expert advice on corporate tax planning, compliance and risk management for international corporate groups.
• Identify market opportunities and create go‑to‑market strategies to attract high‑value clients.
• Drive business development through networking, thought leadership and representation at industry events.
• Ensure technical excellence across the international tax landscape and collaborate with HLB network firms.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing team to support the new service offering.

Required profile

• ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post‑qualification experience in corporate tax.
• Proven track record advising large, international corporate clients within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and international tax principles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new service offerings and lead business‑development initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
