Corporate Tax Manager – Tax Compliance & Advisory

About the role

The Corporate Tax Manager will deliver tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will manage a portfolio of corporate tax matters, providing both day‑to‑day compliance and strategic advice on complex issues. The role offers exposure to a wide range of tax topics, including reconstructions, capital allowances, R&D reliefs and share options.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance services and deliver advisory support to a broad spectrum of clients.
• Manage a substantial portfolio of corporate tax engagements, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Guide, supervise and mentor less‑experienced colleagues.
• Drive process improvements, challenge existing practices and lead complex tax projects.

Required profile

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in an accountancy practice with deep, up‑to‑date tax knowledge.
• Proven ability to handle complex corporate tax issues, including reconstructions, capital allowances, EIS/SEIS and R&D reliefs.
• Experience managing projects and staff, with a track record of overseeing a sizable client portfolio.
• Demonstrable post‑qualification experience in corporate tax.
